Former Samsung Electronics Vice President Graham Long has joined Whiteley-based Onecom to lead its AV operations.
He joins after nearly a decade at Samsung where he was responsible for the Enterprise Business in the UK and Ireland.
The appointment comes as Onecom launches Evolve AV (a full service audio-visual solutions provider) to provide combined connectivity and AV solutions led by Samsung technology.
Its first major project will be the installation of giant Samsung LED screens and Wi-Fi technology at The Ageas Bowl, creating the first fully connected cricket stadium in the UK.
Onecom Chief Executive Officer Darren Ridge said: "Graham's wealth of expertise and depth of knowledge gained from heading up the Enterprise division of Samsung for many years, which included its commercial display business, will reinforce the strong relationship between Evolve AV and Samsung."
