A cloud phone system launched by Foehn has been designed to put power into the hands of those who use it, claims the firm.
Called Voxivo, the system provides intuitive controls with drag-and-drop dial plan functionality and according to its maker gives IT or business managers and employees easy control of phone system management tasks that were previously beyond their reach.
"Voxivo empowers companies to take administrative control of phone system performance, workflows and device configuration, and enables in-house phone system managers to make changes or add new extensions," said James Passingham, CTO at Foehn.
"We have seen the industry offering telephony platforms that are unintuitive and convoluted for technical and business teams. With Voxivo our customers can reclaim control of their cloud phone system without needing technical help for administrative changes.
"We also believe administrators should empower staff to be able to control their communications. So we used open source and created a visual cloud phone system that removes the headache for IT managers and gives agility to business teams."
