The appointment of Rob Sims to Elite Group's board as Director for Strategy & Business Transformation marks the start of a cross-business review and business planning revamp, according to founder Matt Newing.
"Looking ahead at what we want to achieve over the coming months and years Rob has been tasked with delivering a new company-wide development programme to ensure Elite Group continues to be fit for purpose in an ever-changing competitive market," he said.
"He will bring many years of industry and commercial experience to the board, notably around managing change and developing successful business strategies."
Sims joined Elite following the acquisition of Nexus Telecommunications last year.
He added: "We will be looking at every part of Elite to see how we can improve overall performance and ensure we have a clear and substantive vision for the years that lie ahead."
