Leeds-based Firstnet Group has appointed Glenn Ward as Sales & Marketing Director.
He brings over 30 years of industry experience and has achieved revenue growth for a range of companies in the IT sector including manufacturers, distributors and MSPs.
Ward joins Firstnet from aap3 where he was IT Sales Manager, tasked with developing IT distribution and reseller markets, instigating a new strategy for the IT division which increased pipeline by 600% through sales to SMBs, SMEs, channel partners and managed service providers.
In his new role he will help drive Firstnet's next phase of expansion with a target of £34m in sales over the next five years.
Ward said: "As well as investing in resources, Firstnet is investing in people and I will be overseeing the expansion of our sales team, which we plan to double in size by the end of the year."
Firstnet MD David Cusworth added: "Glenn's experience will be vital in driving dramatic growth."
