A new event specially tailored to help resellers profit from the fast-growing mobile services market, fuelled by faster cloud and 5G connectivity, will launch next spring.
Margin in Mobile 2019 – emulating the popular and highly successful Margin in Voice & Data events which have been running for nearly two decades – will take place at the Northampton Marriot Hotel on March 21st.
Aimed at mobile dealers and agents, comms and ITC resellers and IT Value Added resellers, the new event aims to provide an educational and networking platform to enable channel partners to maximise on new 5G and fibre services.
“The advent of 5G superfast connectivity will fuel more exponential growth and create huge opportunities for resellers to provide an increased range of mobile, IoT and UC solutions to their customers,” said Mike O’Brien, Managing Director of channel focused organiser BPL Business Media, which runs Margin in Voice & Data, Comms Vision and The Comms National Awards and also publishes Comms Dealer magazine.
Comms Dealer Editor Stuart Gilroy believes resellers that don’t get to grips with the mobile connectivity revolution and fully understand the opportunities it presents will lag behind their competitors.
“We can expect around 100 billion connected devices by 2025. Each of us will probably have 10–12 connected devices by then. These new IoT connections will be fuelled by 5G so the message is clear – now is the time for resellers to ensure their mobile communications and IoT offerings are fit for purpose and their business is poised for growth.”
Manchester-based IoT solutions provider Zest 4 has already agreed to support Margin in Mobile 2019.
MD Mandy Fazelynia commented: “We’re excited to be a part of Margin in Mobile. As a true IoT MVNO we are at the heart of this new sector, already helping our partners implement successful mobile and IoT strategies.
"We’ll be on hand to share how we can help channel partners spot these opportunities and create compelling sales campaigns to win those deals.”
Daisy Wholesale has also committed to Margin in Mobile. "I am right behind this event," said MD Terry O’Brien. “Mobile access is increasingly critical to any business - being able to access information anywhere and anytime - bringing together fixed and mobile solutions for the benefits of businesses and their employees. Businesses want to have mobility solutions at the centre of their operating approach.
“We as a channel community cannot miss out on this huge opportunity to serve customers brilliantly with mobile. Our mobile solution has been one of our greatest successes and Margin in Mobile is a long overdue diary event for the channel.
"I look forward to talking mobile with everyone and helping partners be the preferred choice for mobile."
Margin in Mobile will comprise an educational seminar programme, a managed meetings process, a networking evening dinner and overnight accommodation. Qualified reseller directors will be able to attend completely free of charge.
