Maintel has extended its partnership with RingCentral to bring cloud communications to local and central government bodies, which are lagging behind according to CEO Ioan MacRae.
He said: “Many public sector organisations are using a variety of legacy systems to communicate with colleagues and citizens and share files, but the use of these disparate solutions makes it difficult for employees to get work done.”
The managed communication services provider will offer cloud-based RingCentral Office to the public sector through its enhanced supplier status on the NS2 network services framework aiding digital transformation of their communication and collaboration solutions.
MacRae added: “By deploying an all-in-one solution, we can ensure that people working in the public sector can communicate and collaborate easier than ever before, and on any device.”
Maintel currently serves over 40 NHS trusts with communications and has helped over 300 public sector organisations with digital transformation.
