Jurassic Fibre achieves Future Net Zero accreditation

Jurassic Fibre has achieved Future Net Zero accreditation for its plans to reduce its carbon emission by 50% before 2030.

Building a Jurassic Fibre Forest is within the proposals that have helped the Dorset-based altnet achieve the accreditation, which is assessed via a carbon assessment report.

CEO, Michael Maltby, said: “It has been eye-opening to see the changes that can be made to the business to make it more sustainable.

“Our green goals include the use of electric vehicles, using HVO fuel in non-electric vehicles, ensuring all gas and electric supply contracts are from 100 per cent renewable and low-carbon sources and onsite generation through solar panels.”

Jurassic Fibre is part of the Race to Zero pledge, created by the UN in conjunction with the Paris agreement to slow climate change.
