Gamma has achieved Cisco’s Environmental Sustainability Specialisation for its participation in the circular economy.
The certification enables Gamma to partner with Cisco and leverage its free device take back offering so the equipment that we can’t reuse for ourselves can feed their remanufactured equipment market.
Chris Smith, ESG Programme Manager at Gamma, said: “The circular economy is increasingly important in the ICT sector, with prioritisation of refuse, refurbishment, and recycling of equipment helping to reduce electronic waste and its impact on the environment”.
“Our partnership with Cisco means we can extend our current programme and is a step that we are proud to be taking.”
Katherine Hannah, Cisco Global Sustainability Lead, added: “This certification places Gamma among a select group of partners recognised for delivering Cisco solutions that support sustainability and address environmental challenges.”
