BT set to hire 1,000 for new Midlands hub

BT is looking for 1,000 new recruits to fill its new Birmingham office, which will act as the company’s first regional hub site to open outside of London.

Chief Executive Philip Jansen said: “We are committed to creating more opportunities and basing key operations in other areas of the UK. A number of our senior leaders are now based here in Birmingham, as well as colleagues from across the business.”

The new facility, Three Snowhill, will eventually accommodate around 3,500 colleagues from across BT Group including new staff across digital, data, analytics, HR and sales roles.

BT are also looking to open offices in Manchester and Bristol as well as a new London HQ.
