Voiceflex PCI helps reduce card security non-compliance

Voiceflex has launched Voiceflex PCI to simplify compliance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) across all telephony applications.

Due to the complexity of providing the service from a carrier’s perspective, achieving compliance has always been costly, particularly for smaller businesses, where the expense often outweighed the risk of potential fines for non-compliance.

Voiceflex PCI helps overcome these issues and can be added to any SIP Trunk supplied by Voiceflex, irrespective of the telephony application, on-premises, single instance cloud-based solutions, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Cisco, or the company’s own UCaaS application Flow.

Customers with 10 SIP trunks who require two concurrent PCI calls, for example, can enable PCI on two of these trunks to secure their transactions, making compliance more affordable and accessible.

Paul Taylor, CCO (pictured) said: “We have had numerous false starts with potential suppliers, so it is great to finally bring this solution to market.

“As a consumer, I refuse to give my credit card details over the phone if they don’t comply and potentially open me up to fraud. With Voiceflex PCI, our partners and their customers can now trust that their sensitive information is secure.”

The PCI DSS applies to any business handling payment cards, giving a baseline level of protection for consumers and helping reduce fraud and data breaches across the entire payment ecosystem.
