Eclipse Wholesale completes charity challenge for Guide Dogs

Eclipse Wholesale has walked the whole 84-mile length of Hadrian’s Wall in six days, braving unpredictable weather and rough terrain to raise funds for Guide Dogs, its Charity of the Year as part of their ‘Name a Puppy’ campaign.

The Eclipse team was joined by long-standing channel partners including Giacom and Zen Internet, and their efforts reflected Eclipse Wholesale’s core value of teamwork.

On reaching Wallsend, the group celebrated at a local Newcastle pub, and even had a special visit from the Guide Dogs team and their canine companions.

Eclipse Wholesale’s partnership with Guide Dogs began in September 2024, when it was announced as the Charity of the Year at the company’s 20th anniversary event, alongside the goal to raise £2,500 to name a guide dog puppy.

James Drake, MD at Wholesale commented: “Taking on Hadrian’s Wall was physically demanding but an unforgettable experience. We’ve exceeded our fundraising target and can’t wait to give a guide dog puppy their name.”

Thanks to the generosity of supporters, Eclipse Wholesale successfully raised over £5,500, surpassing its original goal.
