Jabra has introduced an automatic, over-the-air update to its speakerphone Speak2 75, allowing two Speak2 75 devices to link together for increased flexibility, alongside enhanced and expanded audio coverage.
This update introduces a permanent linking capability that reduces disrupted connection, giving excellent audio coverage for collaboration in various sized rooms, and could more than double the range overall depending on its placement.
Linked speakerphone devices have both mono and stereo sound playback modes, switching automatically between them, and can be used with platforms like Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and other UC-certified applications.
The update is available now on all Speak2 75 devices via a firmware update in Jabra+, Direct, Xpress and Sound+.
Holger Reisinger, SVP for Video & Collaboration solutions at Jabra, said: “With the new linking feature, the Speak2 75 transforms how users experience sound, offering flexible placement options that adapt to any environment.”
