Ericsson has been chosen by Jersey Telecom to bring a new mobile and fixed line network to the island.
The contract includes mobile network modernisation and upgrades to JT’s RAN and managed services networks.
The project will begin this year, integrating Ericsson’s mobile transport solutions, data-driven network management services and efficient technologies as part of a sustainable network evolution.
Daragh McDermott, CEO of JT Group, said: “Communications technology never stands still, it’s a rapidly changing environment but as with the roll out of fibre, we need to stay ahead of the game.”
