Abbott named as AVP for Commvault UK&I

Stuart Abbott has been named Area VP and GM of UK&I by Commvault as the software vendor looks to drive growth across the region.

Over the past five years, Abbott has led both accounts at Dell Technologies and built the current Global Alliances business for EMEA at Dell Financial Services. Prior to this. Abbott held roles as Capgemini and Atos.

Marco Fanizzi, VP and GM EMEA, said: “UK&I hosts a significant number of large enterprise organisations, so growing our market share in that sector is critical for us.”

Abbott added: “Providing resiliency solutions to inevitable ransomware attacks and delivering that with a market-leading commercial wrapper, will create a platform for us to accelerate our growth.”
