Commsworld has appointed Charles Quinn as Chief Commercial Officer and promoted Bruce Strang as Chief Operating Officer.
Quinn has more than 15 years executive leadership experience, spending most of his career at Microsoft, Dell and Hewlett Packard.
“I have watched Commsworld go from strength to strength," he said. “With the significant backing of Lloyds Development Capital (LDC) and our own UK-wide optical core network in place, we have a golden opportunity to expand Commsworld’s geographical presence and focus on a wide range of markets, with social housing chief among them.”
Strang played a key role in the business’s performance and was influential in the completion of the investment by LDC.
He added: “The Covid-19 pandemic has seen radical changes to the way we live and work, and has changed the way we operate across the UK and internationally. Commsworld has an opportunity to help support people in their homes.”
Chief Executive Ricky Nicol said: “With the appointments of both Charles and Bruce we have completed our new Board. The future is looking very bright indeed for Commsworld.”
