Citrix has appointed Darren Fields as VP Networking EMEA reporting to Sherif Seddik, SVP and MD EMEA.
“Over the past three years a key part of my role has been to help accelerate the Citrix growth strategy through increased cloud adoption – driving improved customer experience and a loyal partner ecosystem," said Fields. "I look forward to focusing more on our core networking business.”
Fields joined Citrix in 2017 to manage the company’s business in the UK & Ireland.
Prior to joining Citrix he world for Vodafone in Northern Europe where he was responsible for managing the group’s cloud and security division, and has previously held many internationally focused senior leadership roles at companies like Telefonica, EMC, BMC, and Xerox.
“At this time of mass digitalisation, networking solutions are not only essential for reliable IT delivery and network performance optimisation but are also crucial for delivering great employee experience," added Seddik.
