Demand from UK student accommodation providers operating on the continent has prompted Glide to pursue European expansion.
Fibre broadband provider Glide also delivers managed Wi-Fi to universities, property developers, landlords and businesses.
"UK student accommodation has seen record levels of investment, providing purpose built student accommodation (PBSA) in cities with great locations, amenities and easy access to universities," said CEO Tim Pilcher.
"But the sector is still developing across continental Europe and with higher education becoming a global business, and international students expected to reach seven million by 2020, Glide has positioned itself to provide fibre-fast broadband and Wi-Fi across Europe."
Pilcher also noted that Glide has learned from partners, notably The Class of 2020 and listened to customers and investors to understand how best to support operators and residents in Europe.
