A double twist of fate marked the conclusion of a national sales incentive launched by Adept Telecom. The telco offered 90 business partners a first past the post chance to win a £1000 prize for selling 40 ISDN channels, but the result could not have been predicted.
Adept Telecom MD Ian Fishwick commented: "In one of those amazing twists of fate the competition was a dead heat, with two companies winning the £1000 prize on the same day. Even more surprisingly, this nationwide competition was won by two businesses from the Tunbridge Wells area. We therefore decided to present two £1000 cheques."
The prizes were presented to the winners - Fluent Communications and First Office - at Adept's offices by Greg Clark, Minister for Communities and Local Government. Clark said: "It's a great pleasure not only to present these prizes to local firms but also to see Adept Telecom in such good financial health in a difficult economic climate. This competition showed clearly that good salespeople can sell whatever the environment."
