Watford-based TiG's acquisition of Microsoft identity and cyber security solution firm ThirdSpace is its third deal since BGF’s initial £6m investment in 2018.
The transaction follows the purchase of MMRIT, a London-based MSP working in the financial services and legal sectors, and London-located financial services IT consultancy netConsult.
The combined group now employs 210 people and provides Azure solutions, data analytics, Sentinel and SOC solutions.
Moore Barlow advised the shareholders of ThirdSpace on the transaction which sees ThirdSpace’s CEO Neil Coughlan join the TiG board as Chief Strategy Officer alongside Sales Director Nick Lamidey who becomes Chief Sales Officer.
Coughlan said: “This acquisition builds on a long-standing relationship with TiG. We are realising one of ThirdSpace’s strategic goals in expanding our security capabilities with a full managed service cloud platform offering.”
