TalkTalk Group finalises SSE Phone & Broadband deal

TalkTalk has completed the purchase of SSE Phone & Broadband from OVO Energy, bringing around 135,000 customers and supporting team to the group.

In 2020, SSE Phone & Broadband, was acquired by OVO Energy as part of its purchase of SSE Energy Services.

According to TalkTalk, the transaction reinforces its commitment to grow its customer base and demonstrates its expertise in the home energy broadband market.

SSE’s brand to be used under licence until April 2023.
