Rydal Group enhances ISP offering with Merula buy

Rydal Group has acquired Merula to enhance its service portfolio with an expanded data centre and ISP offering.

The deal enables Rydal Group to offer access to dedicated rack space and the ability to leverage multiple broadband options such as traditional broadband, mobile, and satellite services through Merula’s own data centre.

Central to this is the launch of a portal designed to give clients access to all major alternative network offerings.

Steffan Dancy, CEO of Rydal Group, said: “By bringing the data centre and ISP capabilities in-house, and with the launch of our new partner portal, we’re able to fully control our infrastructure.”

The Merula team will remain in place with MD Richard Palmer transitioning into a new role as Group Technical Lead, focusing on infrastructure development and innovation within the newly combined entity.
