Connectus targets M&A following growth milestone

Connectus Business Solutions has landed its 500th customer and is planning a further growth phase with multiple acquisitions expected. The MSP is planning to create new job roles to help support these growth plans.

In 2019 Connectus kicked off a modernisation process with the acquisition of a connectivity and VOIP Doncaster-based company. It has since developed its managed service model and experienced double-digit growth for the past consecutive three years.

The company has acquired five new companies in the last four years and one client base, opened a new office in Salford, and created 19 new full-time roles across project planning, engineering and client services.

CEO Roy Shelton said: “We have further planned acquisitions of other IT managed services companies which have a very similar range of products focussed on the Microsoft stack.

“Our focus remains on ensuring our customers have access to a great range of hosting, telephony, and cyber security managed services which are cost effective, robust and secure.”

Acquisitions will focus on, but not be limited to, businesses in South Yorkshire, north Lincolnshire, Greater Manchester, Merseyside and the wider M62 Corridor.
