Midwich Group will begin investing in AV entrepreneurs through Midwich Ignite, a new corporate venture capital arm.
Investments will focus on high-growth start-ups and scale-ups within AV and the wider technology ecosystem globally.
Other key sectors include smart and connected spaces, hospitality and event technology, and robotics and automation.
Alex Kemanes, MD of Midwich Ignite, said: “I bring experience having worked in the AV industry for many years, both as a value-add distributor and as an investor.”
