IT Distributor DataSolutions Group hits record revenues of £109 million for the financial year ending March 2023, a 29% swell prompted by growth across its cybersecurity (36%) and cloud divisions (26%).
MD Michael O’Hara said: “This time last year we decided to double down on our cybersecurity and cloud divisions and that has really paid off in the UK.
“Enterprises will continue to invest in IT infrastructure to enable them to reduce costs, become more efficient, reach new customers, and grow their businesses. This is our sweet spot as a business, so we are confident of continued growth in this market.”
In the last 12 months DataSolutions has recruited more women to the business, and the female contingent now makes up 41% of the workforce with the aim to grow this to 50%.
Sustainability remains at the core of the distributor’s plans. Techies Go Green, which was co-founded by DataSolutions, has grown its signatory base to over 350 businesses.
In February 2023 The Guinness Enterprise Centre announced that it is partnering with Techies Go Green and building out its sustainability cluster at its hub in Dublin.
