Sytronix takes top spot on CPU benchmark leaderboard

Sytronix has broken the worldwide server performance record, officially taking the top spot on the Blender CPU benchmark leaderboard, and putting British engineering on the global stage.

The CPU leaderboard is one of the most recognised measures of computing power in industries such as CGI, animation and visual effects, and using a system powered by two AMD EPYC 9965 processors, the technology company achieved a score of 9688.91, outperforming the previous top result by 142%.

This leap in performance is a benchmark win and a bold statement of what UK manufacturing can achieve.

“Our systems are designed to scale, engineered to lead, and built for records,” said James Walsh, Founder of Sytronix (pictured).

“From day one, our goal was to prove that Britain can still manufacture technology, and this result shows that we’re one of the leading businesses to do this.”

The company has a philosophy of efficiency and sustainability, and does not rely on overclocking, which pushes hardware beyond safe power limits.

Instead, it achieves results through intelligent tuning and engineering design, keeping energy consumption steady or even reducing it, while delivering high performance with a focus on performance per Watt - meaning customers get both speed and sustainability.

Sytronix is also one of the few firms to manufacture servers in-house in the UK, from chassis to circuit boards that are all produced under one roof, applying lean engineering principles to reduce costs and improve quality, and gives customers rendering and CGI systems that are faster, greener, more cost-efficient and future-proof.
