NTT Data UK has supported Tim Berners-Lee’s calls to give everyone equal access to connectivity calling on the government and telecoms companies to work together to address the problem.
Matthew O’Neill, Head of Networks, said: “The UK government must work alongside telco providers to ensure that everyone can access and benefit from modern technology.
“From enhanced 5G roll out, to ensuring everyone has equal access to a laptop or computer, this process will be aided by consistent work to encourage fair competition in the sector, as well as regulations and penalties to minimise any delays in rollout.”
