Zayo Europe has appointed Jennifer Smith to the newly created role of CFO, as part of its strategy to develop into a standalone entity.
Smith has previously served on Zayo Europe’s advisory board and has also held CFO and senior finance roles at euNetworks.
She said: “With the recent restructure of our business, Zayo Europe has an opportunity to leverage its European assets and the energy of our European organisation to meet trends like AI and cloud convergence head-on.”
Zayo’s leadership updates also see Simone Bonannini and Pascale Labrecque added to the board
Bonannini brings a depth of knowledge of the European B2B market from his previous roles at Open Fiber and Interoute.
Labrecque, a principal at DigitalBridge, has experience in the digital sector in Europe and has also been an observer on Zayo Europe’s advisory board.
