Tom Bennett has been named CTO at Freshwave. In the role he will lead over 50 engineers and operations specialists in the delivery of indoor and outdoor mobile connectivity across diverse environments.
Bennett joins from EE where he spent a decade, most recently as Director of Partnerships and Innovations. While at EE/BT, Tom led negotiations with the government and other mobile network operators for the Shared Rural Network.
He began his career in telecoms in 1996 at One2One and has held senior leadership roles since 2005.
He said: “I’m looking forward to building relationships with our customers, as well as our ecosystem partners. The importance of connectivity has been ably demonstrated over the past couple of years and technology never stands still.”
