The power and generosity of the telecoms industry was brought into focus last month at the TalkTalk sponsored Night of Ambition, staged at London’s Natural History Museum, which raised a staggering £420,000 for Ambitious about Autism.
£30,000 of the money raised will be pledged directly to the charity’s ‘Employ Autism ‘programme.
Hosted by comedian Ruby Wax, the extravaganza put the spotlight on how difficult it is for autistic people to secure and keep jobs, even though they have a lot to offer businesses, especially those in the technology sector.
