Kubenet has sponsored the Action for Children Sports Dinner for the second year, helping raise £80,000 to support vulnerable children and families throughout the UK.
Fatima Whitbread MBE gave a talk at the event, sharing experiences of her traumatic childhood and time spent in the care system.
Action for Children helped over 20,000 children and assisted over 1000 young people to get job ready in 2022. It also provides fostering services and continually campaigns for change to protect those in need.
The funds raised will go directly towards mental health programs and educational opportunities.
Kubenet writes: “Dinners and events like these are essential to so many charities across the country and if the business community can support by sponsoring, taking tables, donating items for auctions, raffles, or buying items at the auction, together, we can all make a difference.”
