Excalibur took on its annual challenge to raise funds for south west charities, with its team setting out to walk the distance of Land’s End to John o’ Groats and back within the month of June.
The team surpassed its original target of 1,748 miles, bringing its grand total to a staggering 1,932.5 miles.
Over the past week, representatives from these charities spent some time at the Excalibur office, each being presented with a donation of £4,000
These charities include Alternative Angels, a charity supporting the homeless and vulnerable across Swindon, FearLess, a south west organisation working to break the cycle of domestic abuse, sexual violence and stalking, and RSPCA Oak and Furrows, a Wiltshire wildlife centre dedicated to recue and rehabilitation.
