Park Place Technologies has acquired CSI, in a move that enhances the company’s managed service capabilities, helping it serve global enterprise customers with complex IBM infrastructures requiring high-touch, customised service.
The global data centre and networking optimisation firm will offer CSI’s portfolio of services, including Hybrid Cloud Services, Backup as a Service, Disaster Recovery and Cybersecurity.
This technical expertise spans IBM Power Systems, storage solutions, and software, providing secure, modernised compute and storage infrastructure management.
CSI’s customer experience approach mirrors Park Place’s in offering a flexible and secure path to modernisation for companies navigating digital transformation.
The acquisition is one of the most significant in Park Place’s 34-year history, second only to its 2020 acquisition of Curvature.
Chris Adams, President and CEO, Park Place Technologies (pictured) said: “By joining forces with CSI, we’re unlocking new possibilities for our global customers, delivering smarter, more agile IT solutions that power transformation.
“This acquisition not only expands our capabilities - it accelerates our vision of becoming a more comprehensive, customer-focused IT lifecycle partner.”
Alan Watkins, Chairman of CSI added: “The opportunity to expand our reach and deliver even greater value - faster and at scale - is a significant step forward.”
The acquisition means CSI will benefit from Park Place’s global scale, extensive engineering resources, and customer-first philosophy, accelerating its ability to deliver innovation and value to clients.
