WeLink adds 27,500 premises to wireless network

WeLink’s experimental network is being scaled up across Edinburgh to cover a further 27,5000 premises, a fourfold increase. The first areas to benefit from the rollout are Summerhall and Calton Hill.

The provider uses above ground kit that can be constantly upgraded to delivering speeds up to 10 gigabits.
