Avaya Germany in channel deal with Global Telecom & Technology

Global Telecom & Technology, a multi-network operator, has entered into a sales channel agreement with Avaya Germany, the German subsidiary of Avaya.

BT to cut cost of wholesale broadband products

BT is to reduce the price of its wholesale broadband products from 1 May, 2007. This is the first implementation of the proposed price reductions unveiled in November last year. Service providers using BT Wholesale’s most highly used product, BT IPstream, will benefit from a 9% reduction in the monthly rental charge, with the price falling from £8.40 per line per month to £7.63.

Nimans adds muscle to Panasonic arm

Nimans looks set to tighten its grip on the market for Panasonic systems with the appointment of a new  Panasonic business manager. Experienced telecoms sales manager Ian Brindle now heads-up the company’s Panasonic activities and is a former national sales manager for the vendor, having previously worked closely with Nimans as part of the high profile nationwide role.

BNS Telecom has acquired Birmingham-based 3g Comms and sister company 3g landline for £4.65m. Established in 2000, 3g has a turnover of more than £10m and is a Vodafone service provider specialising in the provision of mobile voice and data solutions to SMEs, as well as selling a small number of fixed line calls.
