Sales Manager

About the Job: 

The role of the sales manager is to take day to day control of both the Enterprise and Wholesale teams and business. Part of the middle management team, you will responsible for hiring and managing staff across the 2 teams, from sales support, up to Account Directors and ensuring the Sales Teams perform and deliver. You are also responsible for managing all commercial tasks and issues that may arise, and contribute in the middle management group/meetings with your commercial acumen. With a thorough understanding and contribution in the sales strategy, you will be accountable and responsible for executing the strategy, provide mentoring & support, KPI’s and Targets. You will provide senior assistance in bids, account/service reviews and ensure you have a highly motivated attitude and team.

Key Responsibilities: 
  • You will own and manage the P&L, targets and the sales teams
  • You will be instrumental in creating the sales strategy and growing and strengthening the customer base
  • You can demonstrate that you are a successful sales professional
  • You will recruit, set and manage objectives, coaching and provide mentoring to your sales teams
  • Manage and improve sales process and reporting, providing detailed information on performance to the Sales Director
  • Identify emerging markets, products and competitor analysis
  • Successfully communicate and influence to key stakeholders (internal and external) through presentation and proposals
  • Ability to strategically evaluate large customer requirements from initial discussion to close
  • Strategic development of an existing account
Skills / Experience Required: 
  • Experience and a track record of growing and successfully managing sales people
  • Successful previous experience as a Senior Executive or sales manager
  • Consistently meeting or exceeding targets
  • Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars and conferences
  • Prepared to work to tight schedules and possess excellent leadership capabilities to manage
  • A full valid driving license and your own vehicle
