About the Job: 

The role of the Channel Sales Director is to take strategic and day to day control of the Channel sales teams and Marketing. Part of the Senior Leadership Team, you will ultimately responsible for hiring and managing staff across the teams, from sales support, up to Account Directors and ensuring the sales teams perform and deliver. You are also responsible for managing all commercial tasks and issues that may arise, and lead the sales at board-level with your commercial acumen. With a thorough understanding, development and contribution in the sales strategy, you will be ultimately accountable and responsible for building & executing the strategy, provide mentoring & support, KPI’s and Targets to the teams. You will provide senior assistance in bids, account/service reviews and ensure you have a highly motivated attitude and team.

Key Responsibilities: 
  • You will own and manage the P&L, targets and the sales teams
  • You will be instrumental in creating the sales strategy and growing and strengthening the customer base
  • You can demonstrate that you are a successful sales professional
  • You will recruit, set and manage objectives, coaching and provide mentoring to your sales teams
  • Manage and improve sales process and reporting, providing detailed information on performance to the board
  • A keen eye for detail
  • Identify emerging markets, products and competitor analysis
  • Successfully communicate and influence to key stakeholders (internal and external) through presentation and proposals
  • Ability to strategically evaluate large customer requirements from initial discussion to close. This also includes strategic development
Skills / Experience Required: 
  • Successful previous experience as a Senior Sales Manager/Director, consistently meeting and/or exc
  • Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars and conferences
  • Demonstrate ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels o
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
  • Strong business sense and industry expertise
  • Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills
  • Must have extensive experience in the ISP/Telco space, specifically Ethernet/MPLS (Telco Ideally)
  • Thorough experience in the Mid-Markets
