About the Job: 

The role of Head of Sales is to take day to day control of both the Enterprise and Wholesale teams across the business. Part of the leadership team, you will be ultimately responsible for hiring and managing staff across the 2 teams, from sales support, up to Account Directors and ensuring the Sales Teams perform and deliver. You are also responsible for managing all commercial tasks and issues that may arise, and lead the sales at board-level with your commercial acumen. With a thorough understanding and contribution in the sales strategy, you will be ultimately accountable and responsible for building & executing the strategy, provide mentoring & support, KPI’s and Targets to the teams. You will provide senior assistance in bids, account/service reviews and ensure you have a highly motivated attitude and team.

Key Responsibilities: 
  • You will own and manage the P&L, targets and the sales teams
  • You will be instrumental in creating the sales strategy and growing and strengthening the customer base
  • You can demonstrate that you are a successful sales professional
  • You will recruit, set and manage objectives, coaching and provide mentoring to your sales teams
  • Manage and improve sales process and reporting, providing detailed information on performance to the board
  • Identify emerging markets, products and competitor analysis
  • Successfully communicate and influence to key stakeholders (internal and external) through presentation and proposals
  • Ability to strategically evaluate large customer requirements from initial discussion to close
Skills / Experience Required: 
  • Experience and a track record of growing and successfully managing sales people
  • Successful previous experience as a Senior Sales Manager
  • Prepared to work to tight schedules and possess excellent leadership capabilities
  • You must have a valid driving license and your own vehicle
