High Street retailer Wilkinson has called on Elite Telecom to provide call management services for its nationwide network of stores. Wilkinson is the latest in a number of household names to join the Elite Telecom client base, which includes Interflora, Everton FC and the Tussauds Group.
The family-owned retailer, which employs nearly 24,000 people across the UK, is undergoing an ambitious expansion programme and has chosen Merseyside-based reseller Elite Telecom to provide a solution that enables its thousands of customers to access their nearest store quickly and efficiently.
Elite’s store locator service allows Wilkinson, known for its Wilko brand, to promote a single telephone number that automatically connects any caller to their nearest branch and provides details about the store.
David Bosworth, customer relations manager, Wilkinson, says: “This service has enabled us to reach more customers and provide store details simply and efficiently. While our website is popular we also wanted to provide an alternative to those customers who prefer to call us instead. The number of stores is expanding and this system gives us the flexibility to change details when we need to. It is an additional service for our customers and one that we hope they will find very useful.”
