Vista Equity Partners' acquisition of Datto and merger with existing Vista portfolio company Autotask will be a boon to the IT channel, they claim, as Autotask's IT management expertise joins forces with Datto's data protection solutions.
The enlarged organisation has circa 1,300 employees with offices in nine countries.
