Kettering-based IT reseller Total Computers - crowned CRN VAR of the Year for 2016 - has marched into the mobile comms market following a link-up with 9.
Total Computers has grown year-on-year for 14 years and aims to generate additional revenues via the resale of 9's mobile portfolio which according to Head of Marketing Peter Woods is a 'perfect marriage', citing 9's commercial packages, pre-sales support and training as key attractions in the decision to partner with the Gloucestershire-based comms provider.
"Total Computers provides IT products, solutions and services to around two thousand UK private and public sector organisations," explained Woods.
"We have specific technical expertise in end user computing (EUC) and mobility, core infrastructure and networking, cloud solutions and managed services. Adding mobile was an obvious choice."
The deal reflects 9's move to target IT services companies with its 'Think Outside The Box' proposition which supports partners from adjacent channels looking to add communications solutions to their portfolio.
Head of New Partners at 9, Gemma Horsell, said: "Business customers are increasingly looking for a single provider to meet their IT and communications requirements.
