Betts appointment completes Sabio board structure

Sabio's operating board structure has been completed with the appointment of Mark Betts as Chief Operating Officer whose remit is to develop international growth, customer engagement strategies and assist with M&A strategies.

Betts' move to Sabio follows a 13 year stint with £1.4bn business Atos UK&I where he was latterly COO. He also spent six years at Capgemini, responsible for the Service Management operation across the UK and Ireland.

"Mark brings proven senior leadership expertise to Sabio, both in the definition, implementation and execution of significant digital transformation and business critical services, as well as across a number of high profile client executive roles," stated Sabio Group CEO, Andy Roberts.

"His experience in developing and operating operational infrastructures at both Atos and Capgemini will be invaluable as Sabio accelerates its development following our 2016 investment by Lyceum Capital, and the company's recent international expansion through the acquisition of DatapointEurope."

Betts added: "My role will be to ensure that we have the right operational infrastructure, processes and technologies in place to support the business as it builds out its global managed services capability and develops its digital transformation propositions."

During his time at Atos UK&I Betts was also Senior Vice President for the company's Business Process Services operation, heading a £400m per year service line.
