Commsworld staff sleep out in aid of Action for Children Byte Night

Commsworld has donated £1k in support of three staff members who will sleep rough for Action for Children Byte Night, a national sleep-out event designed to raise awareness of vulnerable young people and their plight.

Jane McVey, Mark Wright and Paul Moore will spend the night in Blythswood Square, Glasgow, with nothing between them and the elements other than a sleeping bag to highlight youth homelessness.

McVey, Senior Account Manager, said: "All money raised will go to help those who are young and homeless in the UK by supporting the amazing work of Action for Children.

"The event starts at 7pm and lasts right through until 7am so we're hoping the famous Glasgow rain stays away."

Commsworld CEO Ricky Nicol added: "It's a terrific event and raises funds for a really important cause."

Byte Night is one of the UK's biggest mass participation events and has raised £9.6m since its inauguration ten years ago.
