intY advances global growth strategy

European cloud distributor intY has revealed plans to triple its US partner network over the next 12 months. The company also plans to expand into the Middle East and Africa.

As part of the US growth strategy the firm will expand from its current base in Seattle to a new operation in Utah.

This move will allow intY to 'significantly strengthen' its sales, marketing and support capabilities, said the company.

Geographically, the enhanced capacity will also allow intY to access the wider US market, as opposed to the current north-west region which has been intY's primary focus until now.

Craig Joseph, chief operating officer at intY, said it won't just be its US reseller network that will benefit from the expansion.

"The increasing availability of cloud is breaking down barriers and because of this resellers are needing to support relationships within a number of territories including the UK, US and mainland Europe," he said.

"Typically, managing this geographical spread of customers requires multiple service agreements, but because we have relationships in place among all three regions, this pain-point is instantly removed as our resellers can service those customers through a single relationship back to intY.

"We will also be looking to expand this in the future to include the Middle-East and Africa."
