Extreme Networks has announced the appointment of John Morrison to the position of vice president, EMEA sales and services.
Based at the company's UK headquarters in Reading, he will assume responsibility for overseeing EMEA sales, services and strategy.
"John joins the Extreme Networks team at a really exciting time," said Bob Gault, executive vice president of worldwide sales, services and channels at Extreme.
"John will be instrumental in delivering our redefined strategy - moving the sales function from product-oriented to solution-based."
Before joining Extreme Networks Morrison held roles as a VP leading Huawei's UK Enterprise business, during which he oversaw Huawei's entry into the UK market, as well as operations lead for Cisco's European Service Provider business.
